3D Printing

I do a lot of 3D printing and have designed several items that are available to download for at-home printing – mainly computer, camera or bike related.

2.5 SSD to 3.5 HDD Caddy Adaptor

I drew up a hard drive adaptor to fit a 2.5 inch SSD or laptop drive into a 3.5 inch desktop PC bay. After feedback, version 2 had holes added for mounting it flat.

Gopro Arm Extensions / Mounts

I made up a couple of different lengths of Gopro straight and 90 deg extension arms.

This is a mount and arm extension for a GoPro camera. The Solidworks file is available so if you want a different length arm you can just add it in the design table in configurations and it should all up dat.e

Gopro Hero2 Frame Mount

This is a frame mount for the Gopro Hero2 and Hero HD (yes the old old one).
I needed one that would give access to the hero port for long timelaps shots – the other ones I found didn’t grip the camera quite well enough for my needs, but most of the dimentions were taken from Mickeshobbys thing so thanks go to him for the base!

Middleburn Crank Spider Tool

This is a bike tool to take the lock ring off of the drive side of some RS7 Middleburn crankso – this lets you can change the spider or uno chain-rings.

I printed it with the hex down so the tool would come out cleaner and I used it with a ring spanner to help the hex stay in good nick.
